Facebook Profile Plugin for Non-Binary Genders

I’m going to code a Chrome / Firefox extension that rests on top of Facebook, so one could choose any gender preference they like and have it displayed on their profile. People using the extension could see other’s real gender identities. Preferred pronouns overlayed on specific posts would be a ver. 2 thing…
Anyway, it’ll be a bit tricky, since I need to create a second database to store facebook IDs and gender choices (and other stuff to make it all work).
Is this a good idea? Would people use it? Show some interest so I can get motivated :)
